I live thirty minutes from both homes.
What started in 2017 as a weekend place on Lake Lanier has grown into two lakefront homes I still personally run — no property manager, no concierge service, no leasing it to someone else to handle.
I meet every arriving guest in person. I walk you through the elevator, the sauna, the rooftop controls, the boat keys. I hand you the property phone and I actually answer it when it rings.
I’m not trying to build a chain. When both homes are booked, both homes are booked. That’s the whole operation.
A slow-built collection.

The Castle finds us.
David buys a crumbling stone estate on Lake Lanier's north shore — sight-unseen at auction — and spends a year restoring it.

The Lodge joins the collection.
A second property appears on Lake Chatuge in the Blue Ridge foothills. Different lake, same philosophy: owner-hosted, never delegated.

Direct booking, lower rates.
Pull the homes off the OTA exclusivity and open a direct-book site. Same nights, no 14% guest fee — we passed the savings back.
